Create/Reset Password

The Create/Reset Password form is used to create or reset a user's password in TariffShark. This form can only be opened by clicking the "Create/Reset Password" link on the Log In form.

Fields

Field	Details	Required
Username	The username of the user whose password is to be created or reset (as defined by the administrator who created the User account). Alternatively, the user's TariffShark-registered email address can be entered here as well.	Yes
Server	Application server on which the User account exists	Yes

Action Buttons

Button	Details
OK	Causes TariffShark to (1) generate a password reset code, (2) send it via email to the email address associated with the username provided, and (3) prompt the user to enter the code.
Cancel	Closes the Create/Reset Password form without creating or resetting the password

After entering the correct password reset code, the user can create a new password by entering it twice.
